The Nereida Photovoltaic Solar Park, the second facility of its type in the Avilanian municipality of Morón, is advancing according to its execution schedule, despite the rainfall of recent days

This project of some 33 hectares in extent, is being carried out in its initial phase by several construction forces, who are working on site, overcoming the adverse conditions imposed by the rains, principally during the afternoon hours

The Nereida Photovoltaic Solar Park will generate 21.8 Megawatts for the National Electroenergetic System and constitutes another important step for the Avilanian province in changing the energy matrix

In the Avilanian municipality of Morón, in areas of the Sur Popular Council, the First Photovoltaic Solar Park has been operational since last year, with a capacity of 4 Megawatts and the result of a donation from the People’s Republic of China (Author: Yhosvany Jimenez Hdez).
