With the realization of multiple activities, the Municipal Direction of Culture of Morón, together with its network of institutions, was celebrated, this December 14, the Day of the Worker of the sector, on the occasion of having been selected as the venue of the provincial act.

The activities started at 9 o’clock in the morning with the performance of the municipal band and the Haydee Santamaría House of Culture’s Dancing Club, said Héctor Hernández, director of the organization in the territory, which was held in the Ignacio Agramonte Park of that city, where the representatives of each municipality were received.

Likewise, several awards were presented to the outstanding municipalities in the provincial emulation, as well as decorations to three outstanding workers, awarded by the culture union, he said.

The director said that there wasl also a gala, under the artistic direction of Orlando Concepción González, director of the D’Morón Teatro Company, during which participants were able to enjoy the performance of local talents and the theatrical collective itself. (Written by Héctor Izquierdo Acuña)
