The 2024-2025 academic year concluded successfully in Morón municipality, achieving quality and efficiency through the dedicated efforts of teachers, methodologists, and administrative staff. These accomplishments were celebrated during the Municipal End-of-Year Ceremony attended by local authorities, including Alberto Echemendía Manzanares, First Secretary of the Communist Party in Morón, and Celia María López Reyes, President of the Municipal Assembly.

The ceremony honoured five outstanding educators with the José Tey Medal for their long and fruitful careers in education, including Roberto Menéndez and Magaly Valdés Morejón. Additional recognitions were awarded to teachers who excelled across various educational levels, from Special Education to Technical-Professional Training.

Notable institutions recognised for their performance included the Alberto Delgado and Ignacio Agramonte semi-boarding schools, Roberto Rodríguez Secondary School, and the José Antonio Echeverría Workers’ and Peasants’ Faculty. The event also highlighted approximately 20 staff members who contributed directly to the successful implementation of the Regional Comparative Explanatory Exercise (ERCE) at the Alberto Delgado Primary School.

In her closing remarks, Yoleisy Valdés Santiago, Municipal Education Director and Master of Educational Sciences, emphasised the collective efforts to overcome challenges and complete the academic process. She acknowledged family support and the steadfast commitment to achieving the objectives of the Third Educational Improvement Process.
