The program of activities to be held in Majagua starting on Thursday, December 21, includes events at the district and municipal levels with agricultural and livestock fairs, among other options.

The Popular Council of Guayacanes, northeast of the main town, will be the initiator of these proposals of revolutionary reaffirmation and recreation of its neighbors, when on Thursday morning the corresponding event will take place in the aforementioned locality.

Limones Palmero will carry out its activities on Friday 22, the residents of Mamonal, whose scenario will be the community of Lázaro López, will celebrate the important anniversary on Tuesday 26 and those of the town of Majagua on Thursday 28. While the municipal act will take place on Wednesday 27 in Orlando González.

This town meeting will be dedicated to pay homage to the martyrs of the aforementioned locality, made up of a group of revolutionaries such as Nieves Montano Cuellar, Raul Barbosa Morales, Orlando Gonzalez Ramirez and Genaro Ortega Hernandez, who 65 years ago were victims of the aggression of the hired assassins of the Batista tyranny.

In addition, dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution and the advent of the year 2024, in the southwest of Avila, dinners are planned in the restaurants of the base Business Units of Majagua, Orlando Gonzalez and Guayacanes and recreational options in nightclubs. Meanwhile, the municipal agricultural fair for the sale of viands, salads and meat products will be held on Saturday, December 30.
