The Nicaraguan vice-president, Rosario Murillo, affirmed that the victory that the people of Venezuela and its president, Nicolás Maduro, are experiencing today is clear, resounding and is not disputed or doubted.
Speaking to the press, the vice-president said that this is appreciated by those who know how to «see the world from the point of view of the dignity of our cultures and our struggles».
«But of course, those who are in tune with the interests of the empires, sadly bent or cowed, bent on vanities, egomania, competitions of vanities, of egos, of idolatries, to see who figures more or who figures better, for them there will always be doubts,» she said.
The high-ranking Sandinista leader stressed that these groups have doubts because they are in tune with the dominant interests and those of the powers that want and intend to continue dominating the peoples.
«We do see and know how to see, and we celebrated those victories of the people of (Simón) Bolívar, of (Hugo) Chávez, of Nicolás (Maduro), reaffirming National Sovereignty and Dignity, indisputable of course,» she said.
The Vice-Minister referred to the historical reflection made by President Daniel Ortega at the recent extraordinary summit of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People’s Trade Treaty (ALBA- TCP), in which he pointed out, among other issues, that the European powers institutionalised fascism.
In this sense, Murillo stressed the importance of never forgetting where we come from, where we are, and where we are going, «and how every moment costs us, every crossroads, how this historic moment costs us, how it costs us our lives».
He added that we cannot forget how much each step they know how to take forward with courage and bravery, never bent down or humiliated, because they know where they come from, where they are, where they are going and how they create the future.
«We see with reverence our Legendary Struggles, our brilliance, values and vigour, and we see with reference to our ancestors, leaders, who are the peoples themselves illuminated by the Visionary Courage of our great Latin American, Our American, Caribbean beings.
He affirmed that these great beings knew and know how to lead the Battles that the peoples have been waging, in order to, from their majestic identities, «establish the pride of being free, and to give everything for our rights».
«Demanding justice, truth, true stories, of that unbending character, of those unshakeable convictions and of our demands that are written in the blood of the heart, our demands for respect and peace».
«We are always ready to recognise the immense challenges, the battles fought, facing the challenges with vigour and glory, and always defeating, we always say, always beyond defeating in every circumstance, the slavers, the imperialists, the colonialists, the fascists (…) that fascism that comes from afar, genocidal, plundering… the imperialists of the earth!
The Vice-President emphasised that, at every crossroads and stage of the brilliant histories, which are of struggles, Honours, of Advances along different paths, always claiming the duties, the responsibilities, the right to walk creating the future that the peoples demand, demand and deserve.
«We will always recognise the challenges and assume them with nobility», he concluded.
