It is safe to say that Lester Moré is one of the greatest Cuban footballers of all time, as confirmed by his performances in various national and foreign events.

He was born on July 15, 1977 in Ciego de Avila and since he was a child he was a prospect, because of his results he made it to the national team, playing in World Cup qualifiers, Gold Cups and tours to different countries.

He was a goal scorer par excellence and in the 2002-2003 Cuban championship he scored 32 goals, setting a record as top scorer.

The lanky athlete distinguished himself for his technical and tactical mastery of the game, his skill and speed, outwitting his pursuers and making combinations.

He was an athlete who made history for his excellent qualities as a striker and was praised at the time by fans, specialists and coaches, such as the experienced Juan Antonio Lotina.
