With a 13-6 record, the reigning champions of the country are leading the tournament, ahead of the Tigres de Ciego de Avila, who have more wins (18) but a lower winning percentage (.684 vs. .667).

Yesterday was a heart-stopping duel: tied in nine innings and it was Yosvani Alarcón who decided the game in the tenth with a hit that left the Leones lying down, unleashing madness in the «Bosque Encantado» (Enchanted Forest).
