Cuba will record, with its signature, its support for the Bolivarian nation
Until the 30th of this month, in all workplaces, educational centres, and communities, books will be opened for the signature process in support of the Declaration of the Cuban Revolutionary Government: ‘It is Urgent to Prevent a Military Aggression Against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela’.
This initiative, announced by the member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organisation of the Central Committee of the Party, Roberto Morales Ojeda, during his recent meeting in Caracas with the Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro Moros, will be a show of support from the Cuban people for the Bolivarian Revolution, for Maduro – its legitimate president – and for the popular, military and police fusion.
‘This will not only be a statement from the leadership of our country, but from all our people in support of Venezuela, and against all the aggressions you are facing,’ affirmed Morales Ojeda, who specified that, upon concluding the process of signatures, they will send the books to the Venezuelan President, and assured him, with certainty, that ‘millions of Cubans will endorse it’.
The collection of signatures will also be a continuation of the support from mass and social organisations, and from Cuban civil society in general, for the struggle being waged by the brotherly Venezuelan people in the face of the growing hostility of the empire, which has applied to it all the resources envisaged in unconventional warfare.
With the purpose of adequately organising this event, the books will remain open in all workplaces, educational centres, and communities starting this Wednesday; the process will involve workers, peasants, students from middle higher and higher education, combatants, intellectuals and artists, sportspeople, and others; and on the 30th, to conclude the process, acts, cantatas, and other activities of a mass character will be held in support of the Venezuelan brothers.
