In one of the actions for professional improvement, the Center for Bioplants of Ciego de Ávila sponsors for these days pre-defenses of Masters in Agro-biotechnology, where several young workers of the institution participate.
An academic committee has evaluated and approved interesting research theses, which leave contributions to improve food cultivation, a priority for the country today.
The possibilities offered by the Bioplants Center for the professional growth of young people is based on their participation in various scientific projects, led by experienced researchers, both from Cuba and from other foreign institutions, who collaborate with the Ciego de Ávila institution.
These actions assert the role of young people in the scientific and technological development of the province and the need to promote postgraduate academic improvement, a priority for the economy.
The Bioplant Center of Ciego de Ávila, attached to the Máximo Gómez Báez University, treasures 30 years of work in the production of agro-science, useful in the country’s effort to achieve food sovereignty.
