In preparation for National Rebellion Day, commemorative events are taking place in municipalities that have earned the distinction of serving as provincial hosts due to their comprehensive achievements.
Yesterday, hundreds of residents from Diez de Octubre municipality celebrated on behalf of all Havanans with a political-cultural tribute marking the 72nd anniversary of the assaults on Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks. This historic moment was shared with equal fervor in Sancti Spíritus, where celebrations carried special significance as the province had been recognized for outstanding performance.
The events were presided over by senior leaders including Manuel Marrero Cruz, member of the Political Bureau and Prime Minister of the Republic, and Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, member of the Political Bureau and Minister of Foreign Affairs, who attended the main activities in the capital municipality. Meanwhile, Yudí Mercedes Rodríguez Hernández, member of the Central Committee Secretariat and head of its Services Attention Department, participated in the Sancti Spíritus celebrations.
Following established tradition, the ceremonies honored personalities, organizations and institutions whose contributions have been decisive in driving progress across economic, political and social spheres. Once again, the events demonstrated the overwhelming support of the Cuban people for their Revolution.
