The Avilanian farmers face a difficult task every day, collecting milk from early in the morning, since the process begins with the routine of milking, guaranteeing stable and varied food for the masses and precisely defining the routes and schedules for collecting the precious foodstuff.

Several actions are being developed in Ciego de Avila to make it possible to increase product collection and distribution to the most needy segments of the population, and to do so in a timely manner.

Julio Heriberto Gómez Casanova, President of the Provincial Defence Council in this central province, together with cadres from the territory and livestock farmers, visited the milking and collection points to ensure that distribution was not a real problem when it came to harmonising various vital elements.
