A massive accident occurred in the early hours of Monday morning, when two buses carrying workers to and from hotel facilities on the Coco and Guillermo keys collided.
The accident occurred at the exit of Morón, on the road to Turiguanó, and four people are reported dead and dozens injured, some of them extremely seriously.
The Integrated Medical Emergency System (SIUM) was immediately activated and they were taken to the Roberto Rodríguez General Hospital in the city of Morón, where they were treated.
With extraordinary mobility, the team of specialists, nurses and other health professionals provided care to the injured.
Iyolexis Correa Lorenzo, delegate of the Ministry of Tourism in this province, said that one of the buses was covering route Dos and the other was going to Cayo Guillermo, in Jardines del Rey. (Author Leonel Iparraguirre)
