The delegates to the Municipal Assembly of People’s Power in Ciro Redondo analysed in the last few hours issues aimed at improving economic and social management, in an ordinary session presided over by Félix Duarte Ortega, member of the Council of State and deputy to the Cuban Parliament.
At the meeting, also chaired by Alfre Menéndez Pérez, Governor of the territory of Avila, the preliminary draft of the economic plan and budget for the year 2025 was analysed.
Other topics evaluated were the results of the implementation of the Food and Nutritional Security Law, the solutions to the population’s proposals, and the behaviour of crime and social indiscipline.
Also in line with the process of improvement of the governing body, movements of the leadership were tested.
Maria Victoria Miranda Borroto was released as Intendente and Saúl Espinosa Ruiz was approved to occupy this responsibility. Oney Viamonte Vega was appointed as Vice Intendente to replace Vivian Blay Pérez. Meanwhile, Indira Nieves is the new secretary of the Municipal Administration Council.
