The Cuban Telecommunications Company, ETECSA, informs customers of mobile prepaid telephony that the international roaming service (also known as outbound international roaming) will shortly be available.

From 1 March 2026, users will be able to access outbound international roaming plans through the company’s international distributors and its offices that trade in USD, which will allow the use of mobile services abroad while maintaining the Cuban mobile line.

Upon acquiring the new service, customers will be able to keep their line active in those countries with which Cuba has international roaming agreements, having the possibility to make and receive calls and SMS; access the internet via mobile data (according to the chosen plan) and carry out their usual operations, at no additional cost, through Transfermóvil.

The company recommends its users select the offer that best fits their needs, as well as verify they will be able to enjoy the service in the destination country.
