Donations are made to children from Ciego de Avila without family support

Personal, kitchen and toiletries items were donated to the children of the Hogar de Menores sin Amparo Familiar in Ciego de Avila by members of the Energy and Mines and Hotel and Tourism unions.

With poems and songs, the children thanked those who live there for these accessories, as well as for the jams, soft drinks and story books that the protagonists of this gesture of infinite love sent them.

Clara Reyes Iglesias, director of this educational institution in Avila, recognised the value of this action and informed the visitors of the aspirations of the children and adolescents who live in the centre.

The Hogar de Menores sin Amparo Familiar de Ciego de Avila is a sensitive example of how much the Cuban government is doing to guarantee the full development of children, even when, for various reasons, some people are unable to raise their children.
