A new task is being undertaken by the Central de Trabajadores de Cuba in the province of Ciego de Avila, with the flagging of the municipal delegations that will participate in the 22nd Provincial Conference and Congress of this organisation, scheduled for the 6th and 7th of February.

Those who will represent the people of Avila in the assembly made commitments in the acts carried out in parks, tribunes and historical sites, where the Cuban flag and the flag of the trade union movement fly, accompanied by the enthusiasm of the delegates, who consider that their best tribute to the trade union meeting should be the daily fulfilment of their duty.

The constitution of these delegations began in the municipality of Ciro Redondo, where Lisandra Limonte de la Rosa, general secretary of the Municipal Committee of the CTC, mentioned among the tasks to be promoted the fulfilment of the working day, the increase of labour productivity, the fight against crime and the efficiency of trade union operations.

The constituent ceremonies continued in the territories of Chambas, Florencia, Ciego de Avila and Morón, while before the 30th of this month, those of Baraguá, Majagua, Venezuela, Bolivia and Primero de Enero will be formed.

After the flag-bearing activity, the analysis of the behaviour of the management aimed at solving the proposals of the respective municipal conferences is carried out in each locality, with a view to arriving with better results at the two sessions of the Congress of the Central de Trabajadores del territorio avileño, in which the delegation to the national meeting will be presented, which will include 44 members of the various trade unions.
