The Cuban Academy of Sciences (ACC) has announced that tomorrow, 95 awards for 2024 will be presented in this capital to recognise scientific research results, one of the highest figures in recent years.

The presentation of such incentives and recognitions to the most outstanding institutions will take place during a ceremony at the Hotel Nacional de Cuba.

ACC directors exclusively informed the Cuban News Agency that the awards span all specialised sectors of its sections: Agricultural and Fisheries Sciences, Technical Sciences, Natural and Exact Sciences, Biomedical Sciences, and Social Sciences and Humanities, whose members select the nominations.

They indicated that each proposal is based on outcomes maintaining relevance and currency, in accordance with national and international scientific development.
