Cuba will defend its title at the sixth Caribbean Cup to be held in the Bahamas, officially announced today by the Bahamas Baseball Association and the Caribbean Baseball Confederation (COCABE).

Scheduled to take place from 23 to 28 October for the second time at the Andre Rodgers Stadium, a total of five teams have already confirmed their participation, in addition to the reigning Cuban champions.

They are Curaçao (silver 2023), US Virgin Islands, Sint Maarten (debutant), Dominican Republic (champion in the first two editions) and the hosts Bahamas (fourth in 2022).

In the last 2023 version, the Caribbean’s largest island nation beat Curaçao 3-1 in the final to break an eight-year streak without winning a title in a multi-elimination baseball event.

According to reports, COPABE announced that the 2025 Caribbean Cup will be a qualifier for the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games in Santo Domingo.
