Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez denounced today in X the high budgets earmarked for war and the arms race.

«In 2023 alone, the revenues from arms sales and military services of the 100 largest companies in the sector reached USD 632 billion,» he wrote.

Rodriguez reiterated that these businesses, although profitable for their owners, are opposed to peace, poverty reduction and the cessation of the extermination of millions of people in the world.
