Cuban Foreign Secretary Bruno Rodríguez has denounced the appalling conditions faced by migrants in detention facilities.

«South Florida-based Cuban politicians divert attention from their complicity in the US government’s anti-immigrant policies affecting Cuban families,» he stated on social media platform X.

The United States government has recently tightened multiple immigration guidelines, altering access to benefits and legal residency for thousands.

According to US media reports, entire families with young children – including infants – have been detained for days or weeks under prison-like conditions.
