The Minister of Foreign Relations of Honduras, Javier Bú, held a meeting today with the Ambassador of Cuba in this country, Juan Loforte, in which they reviewed the multiple joint cooperation projects. During the encounter, Bú and Loforte conversed about boosting programmes in priority areas such as health, education, culture and technical training, for the benefit of both nations, informed the Honduran Chancellery.
Furthermore, they highlighted the interest of their respective governments to expand opportunities for collaboration in scientific and technological matters, underlined the same source.
In a press note, the Havana legation in Tegucigalpa described as cordial and fruitful the exchange held this Monday by the island’s ambassador with the head of Foreign Affairs of this Central American country.
The diplomat delivered to the chancellor a congratulatory message from his Cuban counterpart, Bruno Rodríguez, on the occasion of the 204th anniversary of the independence of Honduras, to be celebrated next 15th September.
The meeting ratified the solid brotherly relations and the commitment of Cuba and Honduras to maintain a constant and constructive dialogue, added the text.
