Classes will be suspended this Monday in all schools and children’s circles will not open their doors; meanwhile, students who are currently in internal centres will be protected.
Engineer Gisela Rodríguez Santana, director of the Empresa de Aprovechamiento Hidráulico, explained about the permanent monitoring of the reservoirs and the guarantees for their maintenance. Oscar Benedico spoke about the possibilities of permanent information through the institutional Facebook page and the Telegram channel.
Meanwhile, Niurka Ferrer Castillo, secretary general of the Provincial Committee of the Central de Trabajadores de Cuba, announced in the WhatsApp groups of this organisation, the continuity of work only in productive workplaces and priority service provision, and published a guide with the details to be taken into account by the family to protect themselves and their means in the face of tropical cyclones.
