As part of the activities taking place in Ciego de Avila to mark the 50th anniversary of the local bodies of People’s Power, residents of the Committee for the Defence of the Revolution (CDR) number three, of the 47th District, in the Roberto Rivas Fraga popular council, held a children’s party on Sunday.

For the enjoyment and entertainment of the children of this district located in the provincial capital of Avila, the event included educational games and sports competitions, with the participation of teachers from the Combinado número dos de la Dirección Municipal del Instituto Nacional de Deportes Educación Física y Recreación (Inder) (Municipal Sports, Physical Education and Recreation Institute).

The event, which took place in the areas of the Agricultural Production Cooperative «Batalla del Jigüe», was joined by the collective of the Food Company, which sponsors this demarcation in the south of Avila, with a wide range of products such as cakes, and other sweets and treats.

Julio César Moreno Quintero, delegate of the aforementioned district, thanked the children’s party on behalf of his constituents, who expressed their satisfaction with the initiative, which also had the support of the CDR management in the territory and the factors of the neighbourhood.
