The delegation that will represent the students at the XXV National Festival of Amateur Artists of the FEU, which will take place from April 16 to 22 in the city of Matanzas, was also flagged.
The country has young people. The Revolution counts on the youth. April 4 is not simply the anniversary of the UJC or the José Martí Pioneers Organization (OPJM); it is a date that symbolizes the confidence in the new generations of Cubans, who are the guarantee of sovereignty and social justice of the future.
The Union of Young Communists was born in 1962, its direct antecedent was the Association of Young Rebels, currently it is considered the vanguard political organization of Cuban youth, continuation of the Communist Party of Cuba and the main quarry for entry into its ranks.
For its part, the OPJM, which brings together primary and secondary school students, was founded in 1961. Among other functions, it works in a prioritized manner to develop interest in studying and a sense of social responsibility in its members.
