Carnavalito Corazón shone again in Ciego de Ávila

Its contagious joy and distinctive rhythm shone again, Carnavalito Corazón, by Latin Luli’s Productions and the Provincial Council of Performing Arts in Ciego de Ávila, this 13 August, in the central Martí Park for the enjoyment of young and old.

With the altruism and desire to work of the performing artists, musicians, dancers, and the Polichinela puppet theatre, all their heart has been put into this activity which pays tribute to the 99th birthday of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, and also satisfies the expectations of a people who do not forget.

Right at 10 in the morning, the parade began with stilts, clowns, laughter everywhere, and the usual concert by children of different ages and schools accompanied by amateur artists from the José Inda Hernández House of Culture, as well as from Polichinela, the dances of the Únicos y brillantes project with children and adolescents with special educational needs, among others.

After the opening words by Lupe Díaz Beracierto, creator of the Corazón project, who invited everyone to celebrate with selfless and healing art, and thanked the presence of Juan Germán Jones Pedroso, provincial director of Culture; Lian Díaz, president of the Provincial Council of Performing Arts; and Nathaly Dueñas López, psychologist and advisor to this project, more tunes from Los lindos del campo led by musician Yeinier Delgado were heard.

Thus the morning continued with participation games, hidden treasures, raffles, high spirits, and jubilation that for a few hours transformed the Avilanian reality of the grateful and those who know how to love.
With this and other activities throughout the territory, such as that of the D’Morón Teatro company in Primero de Enero, the writers and musicians of the Carlos Puebla House of Culture in Ciro Redondo, the talks convened by José Martín Suárez and Larry Morales at the Uneac headquarters in Ciego de Ávila and Morón, mass gratitude was made possible to the one who founded joy in the hearts of artists and the people in general, Fidel.
