From tomorrow, Wednesday the 24th, until the 30th of September, work and student collectives from middle and higher education, combatants, peasants, intellectuals and artists,
will sign the book in support of the Declaration of the Cuban Revolutionary Government: ‘It is Urgent to Prevent a Military Aggression Against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela’.
This initiative, announced by the member of the Political Bureau and Secretary of Organisation of the Central Committee of the Party, Roberto Morales Ojeda, during his recent meeting in Caracas with the Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro Moros, is a show of support from the Cuban people for the Bolivarian Revolution, for Maduro — the legitimate president of the South American nation — and for the popular, military and police fusion.
‘This will not only be a statement from the leadership of our country, but from all our people in support of Venezuela and against all the aggressions you are facing,’ stated Morales Ojeda, who specified that, upon concluding the process of signatures, they will send the books to the Venezuelan president, assuring that he is certain that ‘millions of Cubans will endorse it’.
The collection of signatures is a show of support from mass and social organisations, as well as from Cuban civil society in general, for the struggle being waged by the brotherly Venezuelan people in the face of increasing hostilities from the empire, which is applying all the resources envisaged in unconventional warfare.
With acts, cantatas and other activities, the signing of the book in support of the Declaration of the Cuban Revolutionary Government ‘It is Urgent to Prevent a Military Aggression Against the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela’ will conclude on the 30th of September.
