The University of Ciego de Ávila is implementing adjustment measures for the teaching process that prioritise remote work, virtual tutorials and the use of municipal spaces to guarantee the continuity of university education.

According to centre management, the teaching process will include blended and virtual modalities, together with study guides and materials, available bibliography and the Moodle platform.

Likewise, Google Meet will be used for online lectures and an agreement has been made with the local television centres and radio stations in each territory to guide teaching activities.

Work placements will be planned in units close to each student’s residence; while final-year students will strengthen their preparation for the pre-defences and defences of their final degree projects through work sessions with their tutors.
