The outstanding sports commentator of Radio Suco in Ciego de Ávila, Youri Santana González, was awarded with the work «Llover sobre lo mojado», in the XXXVI National Festival of Cuban Radio, according to the jury that met in Havana from 19 to 24 May this year.
Santana González, who was distinguished in the Commentary category, will receive the award at the contest to be held in the city of Camagüey, between 3 and 8 June.
His participation in national baseball series, in the Central American and Caribbean Games, in the Pan American Games in Santiago de Chile and in the Paris 2025 Olympic Games, among others, endorse the fruitful career of the prestigious commentator from Avila.
After listening to and analysing more than 600 works in the different categories, the jury of the 36th National Cuban Radio Festival, made up of outstanding professionals from radio stations all over the country, congratulated the winning radio broadcasters.
