An Avilanian delegation will participate in the First National Symposium of Scientific Societies of Health, to be held from 8 to 10 September next.

Under the motto «Science for health, innovation for the future», the aforementioned event will take place in-person at the Solymar Barceló Hotel in Varadero, and virtually via the website https://eventosscs.sld.cu.

The symposium programme includes the following themes: History and Development of Scientific Societies, Contribution to the Cuban Health System, Contributions to Sustainable Development Goals and Continuing Education, and Scientific Production and Technological Innovation.

As stated in the call, this first National Symposium of Scientific Societies of Health will be «a space to share knowledge, outline joint strategies, and continue building the future of Cuban public health based on science».
