Doctors from the hospitals of Ciego de Ávila and Morón have obtained this month the degrees of Doctor of Medical Sciences and specialists in various branches of medicine.

Health personnel in the province of Ciego de Ávila remain in a spiral of improvement to raise the professional level, based on better care for patients with various pathologies.

Despite the lack of medicines, supplies and instruments that the Cuban health system is going through, as a consequence of the economic siege on the island, the doctors continue to train in their respective specialties.

In addition, scientific conferences are systematically organized, in which research is presented that provides knowledge and solutions to the health problems of the Avilanian territory.

The provincial hospitals Doctor Antonio Luaces Iraola, in Ciego de Ávila, and Roberto Rodríguez, in Morón, offer facilities for professional improvement to doctors, technologists, nursing and administrative staff to have a workforce with a scientific level according to their needs.
