At a press conference, the tribute activities to the party of workers in Ciego de Ávila were announced.

The Central of Workers of Cuba and the unions that represent 119 933 affiliates to the union sections of the state entities, of the private sector and the retirees in the province of Ciego de Ávila, carry out various activities in homage to the first of May, International Day of the working class.

Each action is accompanied by the main slogan to the homeland, hands and heart, as reported at a press conference  Mariset Hernández Rodríguez,   member of the Provincial Secretariat of the CTC, who explained that the initiatives began in the work centers with the reading of The call for the celebration of mass parades in the 10 municipalities, with a view to expressing joy and commitments to economic and social development programs.

She mentioned among the proposals a massive activity dedicated to the domino game, next Saturday in the José Martí Park, in the avilanian capital; Exhibitions, walks, cultural galas, recognitions of combatants of Playa Girón and stimulation acts to 11 work groups winning the condition of national avant -garde, for their integral results in 2022.

Niurka Ferrer Castillo, general secretary of the CTC in the Avilanian territory, stressed that the flag with the Avilanian union beat emblem will begin its journey next Sunday from furrows of the Agro company Arnaldo Ramírez, of the municipality of Primero de Enero, and will pass By 95 centers of the province, in tribute to the anniversary of the birth of Commander Ernesto Che Guevara, on June 14, 1928.

The trade unionist emphasized that on the 13th of this month the Balance Assembly of the Workers’ Organization will be held to evaluate the behavior of its internal functioning, the policy of leaders and the performance of the economy of the province, among other issues.
