Among the systematic actions being carried out in the province of Ciego de Ávila to combat drug use, a neighbourhood debate was held this week in the El Vaquerito popular council, in the municipality of Morón.

Specialists on the subject explained to the residents of the aforementioned community topics related to the prevention of the use of harmful substances and the vigilance families must maintain to ensure adolescents and young people do not fall into harmful addiction. Cuba has zero tolerance for the possession, sale, and consumption of these substances, as they are a dangerous scourge on society.

The Avilanian province has trained specialists to confront this harmful vice and among the prevention actions they carry out are offering talks in schools, workplaces, urban neighbourhoods, and rural communities across the territory.
