The Festival and Colloquium dedicated to the outstanding Morón dancer Vivian Díaz Guedes paid the most well-deserved tribute to this artistic figure who dignifies the territory through her dedication, her humanist attitude, her patriotism and her role as a prophet of solidarity.
A dance spectacle featuring various genres — among them African culture, represented by the Renacer Haitiano group — proved to be an attraction that captivated those present.
Meanwhile, the Caonabo Museum hosted the colloquium «Vivian Among Us», an opportune space to delve deeper into the life and work of the distinguished dancer.
Likewise, the traditional pilgrimage to the local cemetery, where Díaz Guedes’s remains rest, took place.
The activities for the occasion, which extended to the Casa del Abuelo, are part of Morón Culture Week, which will culminate on the eighth.
