Ciego de Ávila Shares Results of Project on Teaching Cuban History

Avilanian specialists and academics shared the results of the Project on Strategies for the Developmental Learning of Cuban History, at a dissemination workshop held at the headquarters of the Provincial General Education Directorate.

Led by Doctor of Sciences Ramón Pla, who presented the core findings and the scientific proposals derived from the research, the meeting constituted a space for exchange between academia and various institutions in the territory.

The session included the participation of professors from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, headed by Vice-Dean Reinaldo Meneses, along with teachers Ángel Cabrera and Miguel Rodríguez.

Also in attendance were representatives from the Association of Combatants of the Cuban Revolution (ACRC) at the provincial level, the Culture sector, the Provincial Museum, media outlets, and methodology specialists from different educational levels. The workshop was chaired by Doctor of Sciences Madeleys Sánchez.

The meeting, described as fruitful by participants, allowed for coordination from academia with the existing social potential in the territory to promote developmental learning of Cuban History, in its necessary interrelation with the local history of Ciego de Ávila.
