Professionals from the Máximo Gómez Báez University (UNICA), in Ciego de Ávila, are preparing to participate in the XV International Higher Education Congress Universidad 2026.

A team of academics from this institution will present projects, scientific results and showcase the comprehensive work carried out by the Avilanian higher education institution.

Among the principal themes they will present, the following stand out: innovation and technology transfer, the comprehensive training of committed professionals, and university-society linkage for local development.

The congress will feature an institutional stand where UNICA representatives will be able to socialise and share experiences with colleagues from other institutions.

The delegation from the University of Ciego de Ávila will be comprised of Dr. C. Bárbara Espinosa Fernández, Head of the Institutional Communications Group; Dr. C. Marcos Edel Martínez Montero, Director of International Relations; and Lic. Kevin Marcos Delgado Álvarez, Institutional Communications Manager.
