Actions directed at the cleaning of school centres, streets and health facilities were carried out by the people of Morón last Sunday, as a greeting to the 66th anniversary of the first voluntary work led by Commander Ernesto Che Guevara, in Caney de las Mercedes.

The principal authorities of the municipality multiplied their efforts alongside the rest of the people in order to contribute to the aesthetic improvement of the territory, principally in central areas and main arteries of the city.

Special mention to the workers of the Roberto Rodríguez Basic Secondary School and the North and South polyclinics, as well as those of the nursery schools, culture and sports.

On this occasion, the 66th anniversary is remembered of the first voluntary work led by Commander Ernesto Che Guevara in Caney de las Mercedes, territory of the current Granma municipality of Bartolomé Masó, to work on the construction of the Camilo Cienfuegos School City.
