Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, began a working visit to Santa Clara today, where he will dialogue with workers and authorities of economic and social entities.

The day began with the arrival of the president at the Basic Business Unit Fuse and Electrical Disconnect Factory. It is anticipated that during the day, he will be present at the recently inaugurated Social Protection Centre and at the farm of an outstanding producer in Villa Clara province.

This tour forms part of the work system that fosters direct exchange with the productive and service sectors across the entire national territory.
