A young team, with several rookies, will be presented by the Ciego de Ávila Tigers in the 64th National Baseball Series.
The squad will be managed by Danny Miranda and features 18 rookies on its roster with an average age of 24.6 years.
The reserve player group will be announced on 22 August at the technical Congresillo hosted in Ciego de Ávila.
Provincial sports authorities confirmed that pitcher Luis Alberto Marrero could join the team if he recovers from his injury.
At the start of the championship, the Avilanians must play 10 away games against Matanzas and Sancti Spíritus.
