The XIV René Rodríguez Regional Landscape Salon will be inaugurated next Saturday the 16th, at 11 in the morning in the Avilanian capital.

Visual artists from Camagüey, Sancti Spíritus and Ciego de Ávila will exhibit their works, reflecting the landscapes of their respective provinces.

The Raúl Martínez Gallery, on the city boulevard, is the Salon’s venue and will maintain the exhibition of paintings until 16 September.

This Regional Landscape Salon each year renders homage to René Rodríguez, a self-taught painter, yet one of highly professional brushstrokes and colour combinations, who masterfully captured beautiful urban and rural places of the Avilanian territory on canvas.
