The Instituto de Amistad con los Pueblos (ICAP) in Ciego de Avila was the scene of a significant meeting of solidarity with Cuba, with the outstanding presence of Chilean activist and friend of the island Ignacio Flores.

This event reaffirms the commitment of organisations and individuals from all over the world to the defence of Cuban sovereignty and support for the Cuban people.

In a gesture of deep solidarity and commitment to Cuban culture and sport, Ignacio Flores made a donation of a computer to the Peña Cultural Deportiva Gladys Marín, received by its president Gerardo Abril. This donation will allow the peña to expand its activities, improve its management and promote culture and sport in the community.
The meeting was presided over by Tania Companioni Olivares, ICAP delegate in the Avileño territory.
