The youth of Ciego de Avila will be represented in the May Day parade by students from the Federation of High School Students and the Federation of University Students.

Grouped in the bloc that identifies them, the new generation will reaffirm their unity with the revolution and the proletariat as heirs of history, and future protagonists of the Cuban social project.

In commemoration of the date, the Young Communist League activated its grassroots structures to carry out days of voluntary work in agriculture or other productive tasks.

To celebrate the International Workers’ Day together with the workers, the young people of Avila organised special morning activities and decorated the workplaces and educational collectives.
