The Municipal event Jacaraneando con el Güije, took place in the Casa de la Cultura Haydé Santamaría, in the city of Morón, Ciego de Avila, with the exhibition of stories and oral narrations with the aim of rescuing cultural traditions in rural areas.

A jury was in charge of selecting the best presentations, which will represent the municipality in the provincial event to be held soon.

There was no shortage of jocular tenths, stagings of old peasant stories and various old tales, which characterised the parties and family gatherings in the rural communities.

The activity was also attended by groups of educators and people from the community attracted by the rescue of old cultural traditions (Author: Leonel Iparraguirre González).
