Julio Gómez Casanova, First Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC) Provincial Committee in Ciego de Ávila, conducted a tour of the Morón Fish Hatchery Station to verify the work being done at the facility with a view to ensuring the new campaign.
Accompanied by the Governor of the Avilanian territory, Alfred Menéndez, he took an interest in the actions being undertaken in the current phase, as well as the guarantees for, amidst economic difficulties, undertaking tasks that will allow for an increase in the production of fry.
The delegation toured the different areas and exchanged views with workers and managers, focusing on the commitment and determination to face the new stage with multiplied efforts.
The Morón Fish Hatchery Station supplies several municipalities in the province, where ponds and other water sources become reservoirs for the reproduction and development of different species of freshwater fish.
