The FMC Supports Vocational Training in Morón

The Casa de Orientación a la Mujer y la Familia (House of Guidance for Women and the Family) in the Avilanian municipality of Morón is making a valuable contribution to the training of all those interested in learning a trade, through the training programmes delivered by this institution of the Federación de Mujeres Cubanas (Federation of Cuban Women).

Notable among the training on offer are courses in English and French language, body massage, hairdressing, barbering, facial treatments, warehouse management, commercial techniques, sales management, reception, tourism management, pastry, cooking, baking, customer service and shop assistant work, among others.

The courses last between one and three months and are delivered by specialists in each subject. The requirement is to be at least 18 years of age.

These programmes offer an opportunity for young people not in education or work, as well as for homemakers, to acquire a trade which allows them to integrate into a socially and labour-active life.
