For next Saturday, the 13th of December, the celebration of a Municipal Festival of New Trova in Morón is planned, an event which seeks to revitalise that genre of particular presence in the territory.

The Festival’s programme will feature as its inauguration a Colloquium, starting at three in the afternoon that day, where cultivators of that genre will recall the first steps in this regard in this municipality, with the creation of the Turiguanó Group in the mid-1960s of the last century.

The event will be based at the Pablo Bernal House of Trova, where in the evening a parade of troubadours is planned, with their guitars and songs, among others, Belarmino Quiñones, Alex and Alain Poveda, and guests. (Author: Leonel Iparraguirre González)
