New Version of Enzona Expands Features for E-commerce

Directors of the Information Technology Company for Defence (Xetid) presented this Tuesday a new version of the Enzona and Enzona Comercio applications, the latter aimed at the business sector, both state and private.

Noel Alvarado Cepero, Director of the Digital Economy Business Unit at Xetid, explained that the new versions – available from Apklis and the Enzona platforms – incorporate immediate backup copies, greater stability in payment processes and mechanisms to reduce errors and fraud.

He indicated that the new Enzona Comercio application includes, among its main novelties, the inclusion of public notifications, which allow the merchant to receive alerts even when the application is not open, as long as they maintain access to the mobile network, thereby facilitating the control of sales operations and speeding up payment confirmation.

Similarly, the user experience was perfected and a statistics module was incorporated where businesspeople and sellers can analyse their sales by day, month or by territory, and make projections for commercial planning.

Another highlighted function is the possibility of managing multiple points of sale within the same business, which allows for better organisation of workflow in entities with various service areas.

He added to Granma that the platform registers over 129,000 businesses, where private sector ones predominate and its application version would be more convenient for use than the web version.

On the other hand, Alvarado Cepero specified at the press conference that the update to the Enzona application also expands the available services, among them payment to organisations such as the Union of Cuban Informatics Professionals and the Party quota, as well as operations between Classic and AIS Cards and the registration of Tropical Bandec is added.

Regarding user support, the complaint system is maintained, which allows the customer, in case of an operation failure, to activate a complaint directly from the application itself.

Likewise, he insisted on the importance of protecting personal data, reminding that credentials, codes or banking information should not be shared.
