More than 600 young graduates of the University of Medical Sciences in Ciego de Avila will receive their degrees accrediting them as Doctors of Medicine this Monday at 9am in the Sala Techada Giraldo Cordova Cardin, in the provincial capital.
Dr. Alejandro Valdés Torres, Vice Rector General of the University of Ciego de Avila, informed that this year 55 gold degrees will be awarded, 12 will be recognised with the Scientific Merit, while the vanguard movement Mario Muñoz Monroy will be honoured with 30 new members.
The 44th graduation of public health professionals will see the graduation of students from the specialities of Nursing, Stomatology, General Comprehensive Medicine, among other disciplines, as well as new health technicians.
