At the rhythm of the 26th [of July], the women of the Federation in Ciego de Ávila march forward. In their constant efforts, they undertake diverse activities that underscore their leading role within the society they inhabit.

Amid preparations for National Rebellion Day celebrations, women in this province analyse essential aspects of their organisation’s internal functioning, political-ideological work, values formation, and social prevention.

The fight against the Aedes aegypti mosquito, integrating children into the «Educate Your Child» programme, and launching new courses at Women and Family Guidance Centres feature among activities implemented by Avilanian female members.

Actions also focus on celebrating the 65th anniversary of the Federation of Cuban Women’s founding (23 August) and World Breastfeeding Week. These include educational talks involving the community, health brigade members, and healthcare personnel.
