With a special dedication to Alejo Carpentier and locally to Elizabeth Iparraguirre Jorge, the Day of Cuban Culture Festival will take place in the Avilanian municipality of Morón between the 10th and 20th of October, an event which encompasses the manifestations of the arts with actions aimed at all age segments.

History, human values, and the traditions of the territory will also be present in the very extensive and varied programming planned for the event.

Institutional venues, neighbourhoods, Popular Councils, schools, and workplaces will serve as the site for the planned initiatives.

The Day of Cuban Culture Festival takes the 10th of October, the beginning of our independence struggles, as its start and extends until the 20th, the moment when our National Anthem was sung for the first time. (Author: Eldy Mariño Córdoba)
