The XIV Cuban Medical Brigade in Zimbabwe today reiterated its support for the worldwide denunciation of the tightening of the US blockade and aggression against the island, following the inauguration of President Donald Trump.

In an online working session with ambassador-designate Susellys Pérez, the doctors and health specialists endorsed the four recent declarations of the Revolutionary Government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the face of Washington’s latest measures against Havana.

We support the call to the international community to stop, denounce and accompany the Cuban people in the face of the new and dangerous onslaught that has just begun, said the brigade members working in Harare and Bulawayo, 90 kilometres southeast of the capital.

The ambassador highlighted the firmness and dignity with which they are responding to the new US aggression and urged them to continue working for the health of Zimbabweans, as a demonstration of the solidarity and human feeling of the Revolution, under the guidance of the historic leader, Fidel Castro.
